雖然兩個禮拜一次，但只要中午不能睡我下午就跟要死了差不多
所以我決定參加完半年就不要繼續好了　XDXD

C1 Ice Break

Hi everyone, I am Lillian. Actually my nickname in lab and office is also Lily, since we already have a Lily Haung here, please call me Lillian to distinguish us.

  I love reading fictions, especially horrible, supernatural and thriller fictions.金庸and Stephen King are my favorite writers. I believe all of you know 金庸’s work via books or dramas. Stephen King is relatively not that famous in Taiwan. King is best book seller in the United State. According to the publisher, every America family has two books, one is the bible, and another one is Stephen King’s fiction, indicating how popular and how productive Stephen King is. So far, he has written 73 fictions, and the latest novel will publish in the coming June.As a fan of Stephen King, I collect his books and peripheral products. I have a Stephen-King-limited bookcase which full of books, DVDs and some toys.

         
He wrote a book named Christine, it’s a store about a car has its own conscious.
 

This type of vehicle is real; a toy company makes a mini-version of Christine and I collected it. And this is probably the only kind of action figure of Stephen King.

It is my favorite fiction of Stephen King, and I collect different versions of this book.
          
This 25th anniversary special edition is the most expensive book in my house, it cost me about 2000 NTD when I bought it, this version bids at Amazon stating at 15000 NTD now. My husband sometimes teases me that buying this book must be the most successful investment of my life.

There are numerous movies adapted from King’s fictions. To be honest, most of them are just mediocre. The stories themselves are good, so I blame this failure to the film directors, they somehow screwed a wonderful story. Luckily, there are still some outstanding adapted movies, like The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.
                       

  Stephen King is identified as a thriller novel writer, but I always feel bright and warm when I read his work. The characters in his book are usually being damaged; they might be raped, be abused or be abandoned. But they still believe the power of love, they believe the bright and good side in humanity, therefore they could fight the ghost form the past and have redemption. I am always touched and encouraged. I believe stories reflect Stephen’s heart; he must have a kind and pure heart.

  I hope I will share more about Stephen King and his fictions to you in the future. In the end, if there is only one thing I want to highlight myself, that is I am Lillian, I am a huge fan of Stephen King.
